Medical Device Design and Performance Evaluation

We are interested in developing computational tools to evaluate the performance of endovascular stent-grafts for thoracic and abdominal aneurysm repair. In particular, we are focused on understanding the disturbances induced by the device on blood flow, and the potential tissue remodeling triggered to these responses.

Comparative Analysis of Hemodynamic Performance of Different “Zone 0” Endograft Repair Designs

Simulation of blood-shearing disturbances induced by the different device designs enables quantification of adverse hemodynamics in the head and neck vessels.
